Subi win again
Kyal Horsley at Bassendean in 2018. He looks pretty much the same this year but wears a different number.
Moments before three quarter time at Bassendean Oval Swans led by 22 points. Subi kicked a goal after the siren and 5.6 to 0.2 in the last quarter to make it 27 wins in a row. Josh Deluca was good all day for the Lions while Kyal Horsley and Leigh Kitchen led the fightback. Tony Notte was magnificent for Swan Districts especially as his team crumbled in the last quarter. Strathfieldsaye Storm erased a tiny bit of last September’s grand final sadness by downing great rivals and reigning champions Eaglehawk on Saturday. In front of a huge crowd at their home ground in Tannery Lane the Storm displayed precise ball movement, had multiple options up forward while their half-back line was dominant. Continue reading

There may be some who don’t have a soft spot for the Demons and wouldn’t like to see them in the finals for the first time since last century or the century before or whatever it is.
