He booted 12 majors in the Storm’s 134-point demolition of Kyneton yet according to his coach, Troy Coates, he could have posted a bit more than a dozen. “Sharpy finished with 12.7 so he should have kicked a few more,” said the coach. And the spearhead wasn’t the only Storm player celebrating hard on Saturday night. Moments before three quarter time at Bassendean Oval Swans led by 22 points. Subi kicked a goal after the siren and 5.6 to 0.2 in the last quarter to make it 27 wins in a row. Josh Deluca was good all day for the Lions while Kyal Horsley and Leigh Kitchen led the fightback. Tony Notte was magnificent for Swan Districts especially as his team crumbled in the last quarter.
