Moments before three quarter time at Bassendean Oval Swans led by 22 points. Subi kicked a goal after the siren and 5.6 to 0.2 in the last quarter to make it 27 wins in a row. Josh Deluca was good all day for the Lions while Kyal Horsley and Leigh Kitchen led the fightback. Tony Notte was magnificent for Swan Districts especially as his team crumbled in the last quarter.
