Strathfieldsaye Storm erased a tiny bit of last September’s grand final sadness by downing great rivals and reigning champions Eaglehawk on Saturday. In front of a huge crowd at their home ground in Tannery Lane the Storm displayed precise ball movement, had multiple options up forward while their half-back line was dominant. Continue reading

There may be some who don’t have a soft spot for the Demons and wouldn’t like to see them in the finals for the first time since last century or the century before or whatever it is. Maybe someone still scarred by the grand finals of 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1976 for example. But most of us would like to see the poor buggers do something. Continue reading
