A look at 2017…

FREMANTLE didn’t need this season. With a move to a bigger stadium in 2018 it would have been nice to showcase an attractive young team that makes going to the footy exciting. Instead they got the second lowest scoring team in the AFL, a team that didn’t make it to 10 goals in nine games and scored over 100 points just twice. It was also a team that conceded at least the first three goals of the game nine times. Continue reading

Cory Dell’olio kicked four goals for the Bulldogs, Jarrod Garlett had his best game at league level, Dylan Main was solid in the midfield along with Ryan Cook and Tim Kelly while Blaine Wilson was a constant threat in the forward line. Matt Guelfi worked hard for the Tigers and Ian Richardson kicked three goals Continue reading

Now that was a strange WAFL round. Perth led Claremont by five points at quarter time and lost by 99. West Perth led East Perth by eight points at quarter time and lost by 84. East Fremantle led South Fremantle by 18 points midway through he first quarter and lost by 45 and Swan Districts were just four points down at quarter time before going down by 29 to Subiaco. The wash up is that East Perth have moved into the top five at the expense of West Perth. Continue reading
