The WAFL’s on

Carnival atmosphere? The Fremantle derby attracted a crowd of 4000.

We’re a quarter of the way through qualifying rounds of the 2020 mini-season.

There are three unbeaten teams: South Fremantle who scored heavily in the derby and hardly at all in beating West Perth; Claremont who dumped Subiaco in round one and Perth who might be on the way to their first finals series since who-knows-when…

Subiaco are not in the four (but have only played one game).

There’s a rising star… Perth’s Logan McDonald kicked three goals on debut in round one and four in round two.

Round one

South Fremantle 18.8 (116) East Fremantle 3.3 (21)

Perth 10.10 (70) Peel 9.6 (60)

West Perth 8.4 (52) Swan Districts 6.5 (41)

Claremont 15.5 (95) Subiaco 11.9 (75)
