It's Subi and South...
SUBIACO have won through to another WAFL grand final after beating Swan Districts by 19 points in the preliminary final.
The Lions set up the win when they kicked seven goals to one in the second quarter to lead by 39 points at half time.
Swans got on top in the third quarter kicking fours goals to two but their last quarter was a nightmare.
The ball was inside the Swan Districts 50 for the first 10 minutes of the last quarter but Ashley Hansen missed two set shots and Clancee Pearce one while Tony Notte elected not to have a shot when running into an open goal. The teams kicked just one goal each in the last quarter with Swans' return of 1.7, including three behinds by Hansen telling the story.
Hard running duo Chad Cossom and Ben Keevers were important players for Subiaco while David Mapleston kicked four goals.
Hansen led well and marked confidenty but his return of 3.5 really hurt his team. Wayde Towmey did well on Chad Fletcher and Lewis Jetta was creative
