IT was ugly at Subiaco Oval where Fremantle took on Adelaide. The Crows knew what they were trying to do but couldn't do it.

The Dockers weren't sure what they were doing and did it badly. Incredibly Fremantle hit the front in the last quarter but Adelaide kicked the last five goals to win by four.

Jason Porplyzia kicked four goals for the Crows and youngster Taylor Walker got three. Matthew Pavlich kicked three goals for the Dockers and Stephen Hill gave supporters some hope for the future.
