Elimination final Sydney vs Carlton...

THE final at the Olympic Stadium brought into the focus a big name and a long name. Each of them had an unhappy time in the last final they played, this time one walked away happy.
Chris Judd was the big name. Last year his team lost an elimination final at the Gabba and Mr Judd disgraced himself with an action that had some questioning his reputation as one of the more intelligent players in the AFL. This time he missed a shot for goal that might have won his team the game.
Trent Dennis-Lane was the long name. Last year his team lost the WAFL grand final. Dennis-Lane kicked four goals for Subiaco in the grand final but it could have been seven. In his first AFL final for Sydney he kicked four goals, missed a couple and pulled off a chase, tackle, goal that will ease itself into finals folklore.
