What the clubs are up to during the break...
CARLTON – have sent the leadership group out in search of the leadership group
ST KILDA – spending the entire summer in the sea water – jelly fish stings don’t hurt half as much as the GF loss.
ESSENDON – Jobe Watson is growing a moustache – he doesn’t want to resemble Timmy in any way.
PORT ADELAIDE – Choco and Dean Laidley are working closely together. The mind boggles.
MELBOURNE – training at Mt Buller. he winter Olympics are on soon.
NORTH MELBOURNE – planning the big move – back to their old facilities. Homesickness is no good for team morale.
WESTERN BULLDOGS – Bazza is the face of the Bulldogs. Marketing!
HAWTHORN – Kokoda? Again?
ADELAIDE – Neil Craig is insisting Brett Burton watch the upcoming Winter Olympics – new ways of landing can always be invented.
SYDNEY – listening to Tadg’s Irish tales – far more amusing than training.
BRISBANE – quietly celebrating their Humanitarian award – received for rescuing Fev.
FREMANTLE – Don’t worry about them. They’re sure to surprise us all when the season starts.
WEST COAST – Avoiding the Dockers like the plague over summer - so as not to be confused with them.
RICHMOND – Grinning like Chesire Tigers. What a ploy to put Richo on the boundary in 2010.
GEELONG – Putting rocks in Gazza's shoes and pillows up his jumper. The Gold Coast are sure to declare him old and slow.
COLLINGWOOD – Do they have to be mentioned? If we wait long enough they will do that themselves.
